"Be an opener of doors for such as come after thee."
Don’t know which way to turn? God’s got your back . . .
And you shall hear a Voice behind you saying, “This is the way; walk in it,” when you turn to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:21
i like your encouragement
I am seeking lots of direction now so this is on time!

Thanks! I visited your site, very nice.
I really needed to hear this. It’s so easy to second guess yourself but this morning I’m walking in the way that God wispered to me. I’m walking in complete faith and trust because I know He has answered my prayers. Thanks for the encouragement.
I’m glad this verse touched your heart, Andrea! And I was glad to be reminded to cast my care on the Lord.
Hi Renee Ann, Thank you for the lovely and encouraging Scripture and picture. I’m going on minimal sleep today so I’m really going to need it! LOVE your Kindle option at the top! Very intriguing as I have the app for my iPhone. Thank you for a lovely visit for Word-Filled Wednesday.
I’m glad you came for a visit, Kaye! I must admit I’m in love with my Kindle and am trying to convert everyone
I LOVE this. The voice that guides us if only we’ll listen! Beautiful and a perfect picture to capture it!
I love that verse……..for it is so true and real.
The verses you shared were a great reminder for me. Thanks for the visit!
Trying to use His Lamp to light my way… Great post!
Love the picture on your site this morning, Sherry!
This is just what I needed to hear today! Thanks for sharing.
I love how Scripture works in our lives and gives balm to our hearts. Thanks for taking the time to comment, Holly!
Great reminder! Thanks!
Thanks for stopping by, Kerri! I’m praying for you
Love that He whispers to us and tells us which way to go! My WFW is a verse similar to this too. Love that HE is there to guide us!
I checked out your verse–God definitely led us in the same direction! And thanks for these encouraging words, also, Nicole!
Renee Ann, You and I are truly kindred spirits:) My post today is a blessed companion to yours here…
Love your post, Laura! I rely on God to close whatever doors are necessary to keep me on the straight and narrow way. I just can’t trust my heart! F. B. Meyer was a wise one! I know you’re working hard on your edits so I appreciate you taking the time to stop in today . . . Did I tell you I recently put Courting Morrow Little on my Kindle? Will the Kindle version of TCL come out the same time as the hard copy? Just wondering . . .
If only I could learn to listen and trust that all things will be ok…maybe then I wouldn’t stress so much.
I feel the same way, Melissa! Sigh . . . Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Beautiful photo and the perfect verse to go with… I will be listening for His voice even more keenly today.
You shared a great verse also, Alida! And I really like your photo because it’s devoid of snow (We’ve had a little too much here in upstate NY.)
Renee Ann, I’m so happy I fond your blog from Welcome Wednesday Blog Hop. I love to read and I know I’ll find some great books from your site. God Bless!
Noreen, I visited your site and am following you now. What a great article you shared there!
Gods got my back. When I dont know what to do or where to go…He is there in front, behind, and beside me–leading!! Great post!
Thanks for visiting and for making me think about my roots today, Kelli! Blessings!
Thank God for His guidance and precious Word.
Amen to that, Cathy!
Amen. So true. And when a path isn’t for you, it’s amazing the little ways God shows us we’re off track.
Yes, He works so hard to guard us from a wrong turn. I love that about Him!
Thank you for the reminder today! I’m working on something where I really, really need to listen to His voice behind me, telling me “this is the way!”
I’m so glad we can encourage each other, Emily!
im torn now between what is convenient and what is right… i guess i know what to do now.. (it’s just HARD) =(
I can relate! So often the hard thing is the right thing. But, thankfully, “we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Rom. 8) Blessings, Vivi!
Loved the twist on this verse–“He’s got your back.”
Oh, this is amazing. I love the thought and the picture to go with it!
Thanks for taking the time to comment, Patty Ann
Great reminder! I love that verse – and your graphic is perfect with it! Happy iFellowship Wednesday!
Thanks for the visit, Deb! I read through your skating blog a bit. I’ve always found it to be an interesting world.
Oh, Renee Ann, Thanks so very much for downloading CML! I will try to find out about TCL for that. Usually the e-readers lag a bit behind the paperback release. Though if we hit that little Kindle button on Amazon enough… Going there now! Bless you!
Great, Laura! . . . I never noticed the Kindle button, but I zipped over to Amazon and hit it for TCL and few other books.
Such a lovely picture. That voice is so comforting.
Wonderful! I am glad you didn’t do this as a Wordless Wednesday :-). Thanks for stopping by Simply Blogging University today.
Thanks for stopping by, Cheryl!
How very true! Isn’t it wonderful to know that the Lord has our back? Today during service there was a children’s ministry. My friend Emily led it and had all the little ones sit down with her. She asked one of the smallest to lift a 60lb. weight bar. Of course he couldn’t. Then she asked him if he had someone help him could he do it? He picked the biggest boy there to help out and they easily lifted the bar. Then my dear friend Emily told the children that when we need help with something big we have to ask someone bigger to help. Who is the biggest she asked? God of course! With his help we can do big things and he always has our back. Have a blessed week!
I love how great object lessons drive home BIG ideas about God! This was a good one. Thanks for sharing it here, Amy. Blessings!
