It’s been my experience that you can nearly always enjoy things if you make up your mind firmly that you will. ~Anne Shirley~ (click to tweet)
The world looks like something God had just imagined for His own pleasure, doesn’t it? ~Anne Shirley~ (click to tweet)

  1. Beautiful pictures! Thanks for linking up with Woman to Woman’s Word Filled Wednesday!

    God bless!

  2. Love your picture quotes, and so timely! I watched “Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story” for the first time the other day, and fell in love with Anne and Gilbert all over again. Sigh. 🙂 Though I can’t remember Gilbert going to war in the books by L.M. Montgomery. Hmmm… I may have to re-read those books. 😉

    • Oh, Gwen, how could anyone not fall in love with Anne & Gilbert? I remember the weekend I discovered the videos. As twenty-somethings, my sister & I were housesitting for a friend. We noticed the Anne of Green Gable VHS tapes & popped them in the VCR. We pulled an all-nighter and watched every episode. Now almost 30 years later, I’m planning to buy them for my niece’s daughter for Christmas!

(BTW, I don’t think The Continuing Story is based on a book. It was a screen-play written for those characters.)

  3. Agreed! It’s all about attitude.

    Happy Thursday !

  9. It always baffles me when someone says they’re not creative. Aren’t we made in the image of the Creator? Isn’t it our job to create, to leave the world a more beautiful, loving place than we found it? Aren’t we meant to relish the incredible beauty and diversity around us?

  10. Beautiful – love your spirit and talent – HAPPY SUMMER!

  11. Great quotes and so true!

  12. oh that first phrase is a home run! Something I try to tell my husband all the tim e- but he is “half glass empty’ sort of dude. which clashes with my “half glass full’ theory!
