The worth of her words

woman who fears the Lord 11b

(As always, feel free to download & share)

from Proverbs 31

An excellent wife, who can find?
For her worth is far above jewels.

Strength and dignity are her clothing,
And she smiles at the future.

She opens her mouth in Wisdom
And the teaching of Kindness is on her tongue.

Many daughters have done nobly,
But you excel them all.
Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

Who are you encouraging with your words today, friends?

  1. Great reminder on the importance of our words!

  2. Wow. I want to be more like this quote.

  3. Hi Renee – blessings – and so good to reconnect with you. I had you on my Blogger list but have migrated to Word Press and left all my followers – and those I followed – back there. I haven’t found a WP plugin to do what the Blogger list did for me regarding keeping track of followers and who I’m following. It’s all a learning process and 2014 is the year to master this.

Your meme is beautiful! And, yes – I miss that weather, too!! Best to you with your lit classes (I’m out of that loop now and just freelance copywriting) and book writing (yey – published one last year and have two on the dock for later this year)!

  4. I love the image you used! Thanks for the reminder of how important my words are. Thanks for sharing at Tales of a Pee Dee Mama.

  5. Just lovely as always; I loved it. I wish as women that we would follow the examples in the scriptures; this was such a good one.
    Blessings to you!

  6. Thanks Renee so much for sharing this!!

  7. Lovely, I am constantly working on the words that come out of my mouth, especially with the ones that mean the most, my husband and children! Great reminder! 🙂

  8. One of my favourite passages of scripture! Thanks for sharing Renee!!! Blessings, Natasha

  9. What beautifully exquisite words!!! Joy filled words!! Thank you!

  10. Words can build up or tear down. Sometimes we don’t realize the power our words have, and it’s important to consider it before saying what we’re thinking. Glad to visit again. 🙂 Stopped over from Faith Filled Friday.

  11. Often we women can use our words to get one over on each other or judge each other because of our own insecurities. Thanks so much for this beautiful post about encouragement, building each other up and speaking wisdom and kindness.
Thanks for sharing at Essential Fridays.
