As for God, his way is perfect.
The Lord’s word is flawless;
He shields all who take refuge in him.
For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
It is God who arms me with strength
And keeps my way secure.
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
He causes me to stand on the heights.
He trains my hands for battle;
My arms can bend a bow of bronze.
You make your saving help my shield,
And your right hand sustains me;
Your help has made me great.

Photo Backstory: I put together some iconic shots from 9/11 and added the Emerson quote to show our heroes that we will never forget what they did that day.

Good morning, Renee! Beautiful Psalm, and I love Emerson’s quote with the picture. It reminds me that God will give me all the courage I need.

Hero’s are not movie stars or singers… they are ordinary everyday people who do something extraordinary.

“5 minutes longer.” I think those 5 minutes must happen because of love — no greater love than that which causes us to lay down our lives for our friends.
Beautiful words, Jen! Thanks for adding them to this. Blessings!

Yes, He’s our Rock, all we can trust and rely upon… especially in those difficult and dangerous stages of life. He is It. Good thinking/sharing/reminding.
